Why Lavender + Eucalyptus Works
- Lavender (soft floral, calming): helps quiet a busy mind, ideal for winding down before bed.
- Eucalyptus (crisp, airy): adds a just-washed freshness and gentle deodorizing effect.
- Together: a balanced blend—soothing yet clean—perfect for linens, guest rooms, and travel.
DIY Linen Spray Recipe (100 mL)
| Ingredient | Amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Distilled water | 70 mL | Prevents mineral spots; keeps formula clear. |
| Witch hazel or perfumer’s alcohol (vodka works) | 25 mL | Helps disperse oils & speeds drying on fabric. |
| Lavender essential oil | 12–15 drops | Gentle, relaxing base note. |
| Eucalyptus essential oil | 6–8 drops | Bright, clean top note. |
| Optional: Glycerin | 3–5 drops | Softens fabrics; do not overuse. |
Method: Add alcohol/witch hazel to a clean 100 mL spray bottle → add essential oils → swirl to combine → top up with distilled water → cap and shake.
Shake before each use.
How to Use
- Hold 20–30 cm from fabric and mist lightly over pillows, sheets, duvet covers, curtains or wardrobes.
- Allow to dry before lying down; re-apply after making the bed for an all-day fresh scent.
- For guest rooms, spritz 10 minutes before arrival for a clean, welcoming aroma.
Safety & Care:
- Patch-test on an inconspicuous area; avoid use on delicate silks or materials that water-spot.
- Do not spray directly on face/skin; keep away from eyes, children, and pets. Avoid use around cats.
- Use in a well-ventilated area. If pregnant or sensitive, consult a professional before use.
